Terms of Service
Last updated October 27, 2026
1. Who these terms are with
These terms are an agreement between you and DraftDox ("DraftDox," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the DraftDox app or website, you agree to them. If you use DraftDox for a brokerage, you confirm you're allowed to agree on its behalf.
2. Who can use DraftDox
DraftDox is for real estate license holders and their brokerages. You must be at least 18, hold an active license where one is required, and follow the rules of your license and your broker.
3. Your account
Keep your passcode and devices secure, and don't share your login. You're responsible for activity under your account. Tell us right away at support@draftdox.com if you think someone else has used it. A brokerage that gives you access through its passcode can see the packets you build for that brokerage and can end your access.
4. Forms and accuracy
- DraftDox fills in forms using the information you type or upload, public records and other sources. That information can be wrong or out of date. Check every form before you send it or ask anyone to sign it.
- DraftDox does not give legal, tax or financial advice and does not replace your judgment or your broker's supervision. You and your broker are responsible for the content of every contract you prepare.
- Dates DraftDox calculates, such as option and closing dates, are a convenience. Always confirm them against the signed contract.
- Forms are provided as published by the agency or organization that owns them. DraftDox is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Texas Real Estate Commission. Some forms are only available to users who are licensed or permitted to use them.
5. Electronic signatures
DraftDox lets people sign electronically. Each signer is asked to agree to sign electronically before signing, and each signed copy includes a signing certificate. You're responsible for sending documents only to the right people and for making sure electronic signatures are appropriate for your transaction.
6. Plans, billing and renewal
- Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly, in advance, through our payment processor. Prices are shown before you subscribe and may not include applicable taxes.
- Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then current price until you cancel.
- If we change the price of your plan, we'll tell you at least 30 days before the change takes effect, and you can cancel before it does.
- If a payment fails, we may pause paid features until it's resolved.
- If we offer a free trial, we'll tell you how long it lasts and what happens when it ends before you start it.
7. Canceling
- You can cancel anytime from your account, or by emailing support@draftdox.com from the email on your account.
- When you cancel, your plan won't renew, and you keep access to paid features through the end of the period you already paid for.
- Payments are not refunded for partial months or unused time, except where the law requires a refund.
- Paperwork already filed with your brokerage stays with your brokerage, because Texas real estate rules require brokers to keep transaction records.
8. Your content and data
You keep ownership of the information and documents you put into DraftDox. You give us permission to store, process and display them only as needed to run the service for you and your brokerage. How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the right to enter your clients' information and to send them documents to sign.
9. Acceptable use
Don't use DraftDox to break the law or license rules, to send documents to people without a legitimate reason, to misrepresent who you are, or to interfere with or copy the service. We may suspend accounts that do.
10. Availability and changes
We work to keep DraftDox running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available or error free. We may add, change or remove features. If we discontinue a paid plan, we'll give you notice and a prorated refund for time you paid for and can't use.
11. Disclaimers and limits
DraftDox is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, and we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for losses that come from the content of a contract you prepared. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
12. Ending these terms
You can stop using DraftDox and delete your account anytime from Your info in the app. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or if we're required to by law. Sections that by their nature should survive, like 4, 8, 11 and 13, still apply after your account ends.
13. Texas law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Bell County, Texas, unless the law requires otherwise.
14. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. If a change materially affects you, we'll let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect.
